Jamal is twelve years old.He studies at Sekolah Kebangsaan Meranti and he lives in Taman Gapura.He is a kind and hardworking boy.He likes reading during his free time.
Last Friday was a fine and sunny day.He intended to go to the public library near his neighbourhood.He went there by walking at about 3:00 p.m.When he passed by Azrul's house,he heard a strange sound coming from there.He saw two strangers climbing through the window.Jamal suspected there was a robbery going on at the house.Without wasting any time,he ran as fast as lightning to the telephone booth which is not far from Azrul's house.He quickly called the police station nearby.He informed the police officer on duty about the incident.
Not long after that,a patrol of policemen reached at the scene.Then,they surrounded the house.A few minutes later,the two robbers came out from the house to run away while holding a sack of stolen items.When they saw the policemen,the frightened robbers dropped their sack and surrended to the police.They were arrested and taken to the police station for futher investigation.Inspector Nizam paraised Jamal for his bravery and quick action.Jamal felt very happy.
After that,he continued his journey to the public library.When he reached there,he read some book for an hour.Then he went home and told his parents about the incident.They were very proud of their son.It was a meaningful day for Jamal.
